Are these genuine Lego parts?
Yes.
How do you get the parts?
We go to resale toy brick stores, garage sales, ask friends, facebook marketplace, ebay or wherever we can get ahold of pieces. Kaleb and Kellen then take hours sorting through parts and separating them into kits.
Why aren't these available in stores?
As of now, Lego does not produce a Mario Kart set.
Did Kaleb and Kellen design this?
Yes and No. They find videos on YouTube to follow and make builds or get inspiration. They found a YouTube video that had hard to find parts and after I found them online (for much more than I wanted to pay....lol) they built the Mario inspired kart. They felt some of the hard to find parts were too difficult to work with for kids and Kaleb modified the design to make it his own. They thought this would be a good first product offering for the Master Builder Kids.
